The Island Players

The Island Players have been performing live theatre since 1956. Made up of actors young and old, this oldest community theatre in the Golden Isles is committed to bringing the stage alive with a variety of shows. Four performances per year plus a Young Peoples Summer Workshop are presented annually. Residents and part-time residents alike are invited to not only attend these performances but also audition, or work on the production teams. The 2013-14 Performances this year are "Spamalot"…October 18 thru November 3, 2013, "Busybody"…January 3 thru 19, 2014, "Whose Wives Are They Anyway"…March 7 thru 23, 2014, "Godspell"…May 9 thru 25, 2014. Tickets are $20/adult, College Students $10, and Students (18 and under) $5
