New to St. Simons Island and mucho casual, La Plancha is simply a great little taco joint!
Where did we get our name? It means "hot griddle"– the classic cooking method in our kitchen.

And where did we get our recipes? Some are family-inspired Latin classics like our "street tacos." Others are inventive creations of authentic Mexican foods from "Tacos Gringos" to rolled burritos. Plus tempting apps, soups, salads and beverage options including selections of specialty margaritas that celebrate tequila at its best. Come in for a quick lunch or relaxed dinner.

Here’s the deal. Come in Monday-Friday between 3-5 and punch our old-school time clock with a time card. Whatever time your card says is what you pay for your margaritas until 5PM.
